2009 mercedes c300 4matic sport edition
How do I fix my car with Inoperative. See Operation Manual code on dashboard
I drive a 2009 C300 4Matic Mercedes Benz sedan, 100,000 miles. It was warming in the morning when after 1 Minute it went off and had Inoperative. See Operation manual. It displayed an ESP sign on the dashboard with waves under the tyres. All attempts to restart did not open the ignition and did not release the gear from park, P position. After a few attempts, the cooling fan blade started working continuously. When scanned, it showed the following codes:
P 0524; 1303 2091 2095 0946
1351 0942 0155
The mechanical technician said the non-release of the gear and not pumping fuel meant that the “Brain box” was spoilt. I assume that is the ECU. He replaced with another ECU and that cranked and started the car then drove it around up to 1 mile, Putting ECU back still didn’t start the car or open the ignition.
He advised that I change the brain box (ECU). I recall that 4 months ago, at 97K miles the car had an electronic steering lock which cost me so much to fix. Please what should I do, as I have a short while to respond to this suggestion. Your suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks
