C300 Just Bought...delivery problems
I bought a 2009 C300 recently in Florida. Problem is I need it delivered to Texas...anyone know a good trucking company? They all seem terribly shady and difficult to work with. Any help is greatly appreciated.

See if you can find a cheap one way plane ticket and fly down and drive it back. Plus you would get to stop in Nola for some boiled crawfish..

I considered that and the ticket is cheap. The drive is 20+ hours...I don't want want to hate the car after that sort of drive lol. It is my last resort though.

Fly and drive man! Drove my c300 from Vancouver to Las Vegas and took 27 hours non-stop (yup I did not sleep only took breaks to eat, pee or poo). The car was nice for long haul driving. I still remember a part of highway from sacramento/california that everyone was going 180 - 200km/h in the middle of the night. I manage to get my c300 to 220 then the speed limiter kicked in. Never I run a car past 180km/h for 30 minutes in my life. I thought I was crazy but people where flashing their lights behind me to pickup the speed as they are overtaking me like crazy so I mashed the gas pedal and joined the crazy speed driving.

It's my first Benz and I don't want to be the next horror story.
Of it comes to it, I will drive it back.

I vote for flying there and driving it. You'll be able to bond well with the car and understand all its characteristics. By the time you arrive, you'll know if there's anything that needs replacement or repair and you would have saved yourself a decent amount of money which you can spend on the car.

2014 Mercedes C350 Coupe
I would find a way to ship the car back. Maybe you can ask the dealer to see if they can get the car back for you, that way, if the shipping company damages the car, you can blame the dealer. I don't recommend driving 20+ hours just to pick up a car. Not worth the time, not to mention the inconvenience (gas, fatigue, etc).

In late December 2017 I had to drive to NYC for a family emergency and could not get any airline ticket because of christmas and New Year. I took my C250 and drove from Atlanta to NYC straight, 14 hrs, just stopped for gas and restroom breaks and really enjoyed the ride.
You should fly and drive back, You'd love it.

I will be taking this on several long drives though and it’s good to hear of all the positive experiences.
I was able to find a carrier with a good reputation that is bringing it to me. Praying all goes well and it gets delivered by Monday.
