I have 100K on the car and the bushings need replacing. Labor and parts is 177.00. Not too bad.
I know that bushings tend to go before ball joints.
Q. Is it advisable to buy a whole new arm rather than risk the ball joints going soon after?
Just don't want to waste money on parts and labor if ball joints tend to go soon after...
I'm in California so no salt here.
Anyone dealt with this?

if you get a good deal just do it all at once, personally thats what I would do but I'm all about if one thing goes just do the preventive maintenance on the thing that is most likely to go shortly after.
I've been lucky I'm at 130K and no signs of any wear, I've been dodging pot holes/bumps like a F1 driver lol. I know eventually ill have to change things but knock on wood not for another 50,000KM.

You're at 130K and you have not had a bushing go?
no thermostat? What's that car made out of?MBWorld Fanatic!
I know tell me about it lol, I have a great car that's why it's hard to move on.
Other than oil, spark plugs, a secondary air injection pump issue I solved and a seat rip. I've had no other issues/ maintainer needs.
Knock on wood it stays like that!
