Hello,
I have to do my front pads and rotors. I did my rears a while ago and used akebono pads, and I like them. Now it's time for fronts. I was just wondering if I should go the same or give a performance balance.
So how are the Bosch quietones for brake dust and performance (and are they quiet?) Vs OEM and akebono. Or maybe go brembo?
Would be good for someone who has had both to compare but I know thats unlikely lol.

I just had Akebono ceramic pads put on all around and Brembo rotors on the front within the last two weeks. So far, they have not made a peep and are totally silent. Brake dust is virtually non-existent. When I bought the car about 2 1/2 years ago it had virtually new pads, but i am not sure if those were OEM or aftermarket. They worked fine, but brake dust was horrible. Really happy now. Although it wasn't extremely cold since I had them put on, it was close to 20F and they bit well when cold. I have had cereamic pads in the past and never had an issue with them in the winter. So far I am very very pleased.

Sounds good friend, I'll continue the akebono trend then!Originally Posted by Alfadude
