Storing a C200 for 12 months




This is what I would do if it was mine and stored in a locked garage
Make sure there is enough antifreeze/ corrosion inhibitor in the cooling system and all fluids topped up, pump the tyres up and add another 5psi to what you would normally set them to.
Close the sunroof, close the door windows and just leave just a small gap at the top like 10mm not enough for mice to get in but enough to let air move in and out.
Disconnect the battery leads rather than leave it on a tender connecter on to the car for that length of time.
Not exactly sure on this but think you should be able to push the door lock knob next to the window glass down on each door, close the drivers door
and use the manual key stored in the fob to lock the drivers door.
Other wise leave it un locked.
When you return replace the battery, pump up the tyres, flush out the water in the windscreen washer bottle, warm it up change the oil and filter and you all good.
