connect to internet with 2013 c180 c204

just bought a c180 c204 2013 with nt4.5 system. i'm in New Zealand but the car is a Japanese import. cant seem to connect to the internet as it cant recognise the providers! it connects to the phone OK through BluDUN but thats as far as i can get. any advice?

I think if you swapped for a domestic Comand head unity it may work as long as the antenna was compatible. I found the connection so slow it was almost unusable. By the time you launch an app and access whatever data you needed you could have pulled over, checked your phone and and been on your way.

Google maps also used to be able to send POIs to the car but either Mercedes or google blocked it a while back.

Although the integration with the navigation and phone systems are nice.

was hoping it doesn't come to that as it's expensive (I've spent all i can on the car). just playing around at the moment trying to get all the gadgets working that i can. it all seems to want to work, but got to the part it looks for a provider and it simply cant find my phones service provider; its not on the list when they come into view.
