I've just purchased an MMI to 3.5 jack + USB however when I plug it in, I can't hear anything on the stereo
It's an COMAND APS NTG4 unit with a retractable screen in a 2010 W204 C220 CDI Elegance (which annoyingly doesn't have a built-in 3.5 jack of its own)
I've tried the following troubleshooting
1. Tried Media Interface and AUX on the stereo (Media says no device connected, AUS is just silent
2. The MMI to USB is giving out power which makes me think that the port is no dead
3. Tried several different devices, none with any luck
Given they were too cheap to install the 3.5 jack in the factory, I now wonder if perhaps the MMI isn't physically cabled into the stereo input?
