ubnormal temperature quage
i just had my water pump,thermostad,coolant temperature and radiator changed on my c180 w204 and my temperature quage is at 40 even after a long drive.
what could be the cause of this

Why was all those changed-?
So after a long drive everything seems ok except the guage version of the temp, so I would think sensor, wiring, software, unlikely the guage.

My guess is you have a bad thermostat that's stuck in the open position. If it's electrically-controlled, then it'll have a wire going into the side of it. Make sure that wire is plugged in and secure. If it is and you're still having problems, your best bet is to replace the thermostat. Check the coolant level before doing anything to be safe, though.
