Car won't start..Dead
Hello, please foirgive me if im not posting this correctly or if i'm in the wrong section, but i am new to this and have no clue what I'm doing !
Anyway, I have a 2010 Mercedes c300 4 matic sport and the car has always ran great, just had new tires new rims installed got it home and I started checking my fuses because cigarette lighter wouldn't worrk..well I decided to go ahead and just check all the fuses since I had the hood open and the fuse box open. I checked all the fuses and they all seemed to be working! I go to leave for work and my car wouldn't start....DEAD.. I can hear it click (sounds like it's comming from the fuse box) and I hear a little bit of air which I think is comming from the secondary air pump I just had put in about a month ago and thats it! My battery is less then 2 months old, but I went ahead and checked it just to be safe and the battery is good! all my lights work, radio works, i can put the car in gear, everything seems to be normal except the fact it won't start! I strongly believe it has to do with me pulling the fuses out, i rechecked all fuses none are blown and they all are in the correct place. I did buy a new starter relay switch thinking that was the issue and i installed it and still nothing! my car is stuck in drive and I really need to move it, any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi
Dose the key fob unlock and lock the doors if it does not check the fob batteries that may be flat which would stop the car starting.

If you insert the key, do you hear a wirr shound as it engage or nothing-? Nothing they say you can wiggle the steering wheel sometimes it temporarly helps to unsettle the failed lock.
The wirr sound was absent in my case and steering lock was the cause.(Replaced-3 weeks). Lights came, car locked/unlocked on etc.

Did you check the starter? It is (I assume) 8 years old after all. You could have caused a surge of some sorts that would blow the lead to the solenoid from the motor messing with fuses like you were.
