2014 C350 (50k) - is the 722.9 transmission a concern?
Hi All,
Happily upgrading from a W202 and looking at a 2014 C350 with 50k miles! I've been reading about the 722.9 transmission transfer case nightmares but it seems to be more predominant in earlier years?
Oddly the vehicle I'm looking at has 14 service records over it's life, 5-6 of which were snuck in before the manufacturers warranty expired. This can either be good or lemon bad. But at the price and the fact the specific BMW dealer it's at offers a 1 year powertrain warranty (through their shop) I'm considering the risk.
Any input appreciated and looking forward to joining the W204 community.

My gf has zero problems with her C180CGI with the 722.9 transmission. As long you do the regular maintenance and warm up your car properly you should be fine.
Everything stand or falls with the maintenance the car gets.
