W204 C300 Coils - Delphi or Genuine MBZ? Does it matter?
Hey there,
This is my first of many upcoming contributions/posts regarding my W204, and I'm wondering if anyone has a perspective on the thread title. The cost differential between the Delphi and Genuine Mercedes part is CRAZY
I've seen other posts where people used the Delphi's, but I've never heard anyone weigh in on whether one is particularly better than the other?
Thanks!

The Delphi one is ~$30 on various websites (RMEuropean, autohausaz) whereas the MB OEM one is ~$53 (on parts.com and mboemparts.com).
Yes there's a difference but I wouldn't call it crazy. It's up to you to choose which one to go through.
If I were you, I'd buy from FCPEuro where they offer a lifetime free replacement warranty. If they go bad, they will replace them for free.

AH, interesting.. my first post and I'm already learning things. I honestly didn't see mboemparts.com, but most place had them for $65-$70 or more. This still doesn't answer the quality question. Hopefully someone reads this post who has used the Delphi coils and has positive feedback.

I also have no experience with these products however if it is the OEM supplier you should expect no less than OEM quality.
Ex. Mann oil filters vs Oem (same filter, just branding)
As well as the other examples listed above.
