Headlight switch question about lights?

All knobs, switches, etc. that driver can control should have light. Maybe newer C-Class have them?

I checked my 2011 and they don't light up. I'd think it's a missing feature in design. Also the driver seat adjustment on left door panel does not have lights. When night driving, i have some difficulty finding where they are.
