So my wife's diverter broke the other day. This is a 2011 C300. Looking for a source for the part. Image attached. This is the diverter on the passenger side.
Dang. Crazy. The entire dash? I guess I'll need to break into a similar vehicle and pop one out! LOL The diverter. Not the entire dash! How's that for a police report. "MB broken into, small plastic piece stolen."
Reminds me of a shadetree mechanic I knew in Ohio. He was fixing a push button AC switch on a Jaguar. Turns out, the switch was a couple hundred dollars. So he made a little wooden wedge, stained it black, and told the owner, "just put this wedge in there to hold the switch in unless you want to spend a couple hundred bucks." The owner was quite happy with the fix. He made her a few in case she lost one. LOL
I'll look at the one on Craigs and see if the guy wants to sell just the diverter.
