Hood Alignment
The hood on my 2013 C300 has a pretty good sized gap in front, relative to the headlamps and the front grille. The sides of the hood both seem to be about even to the front fenders but there seems to be at least a 1/4" gap all across the front.
The hood latches just fine and opens and closes just fine without rubbing or hitting anything.
I can't see how I can make the hood be any lower, given the really tight gaps on the sides to the front fenders, so the only thing I can think of is whether the headlamps can be raised. I just changed the headlamps and given the 3 mounting points, not sure how to raise those without making them sit at an awkward angle and the grille snaps into the front bumper, so I don't see where that can be raised.
Any ideas here?
