Engine mounts-when (km/years) to change?
My C220 CDI is now 11 years old, bought second-hand and during idle it seems to "diesel" strongly and I can feel the vibrations. Should I drink more? Any idea when engine mounts generally go West and need to be changed? Thanks.

A somewhat hard job 'cause you have a socket with extension poking around in the nether parts but do-able...just get a good light source. Have you had someone rev the motor while your looking/hands on the engine cladding on top to see if she's moving a bit too much. Hard to judge if you don't have a motor with solid mounts to compare.....
Thanks for help. Have seen dealers on Fleabay selling those special spanners for the inaccessible mount plus the mounts as a combo. I do not think it is the cladding, those vibrations, it is the hard knocking you feel in your gluteus maximus. What I do not like as a Youtube mechanic, is that one has to lift the engine and I just love punching holes into aluminium!
