Hey Guys I have a mercedes w204 from 2013 and i keep having this issue with it.
From time to time i keep getting an error , the orange light comes on and the car loses power , and the RPM can only go to 3000 no matter how much i press the gas pedal
The transmission is automatic if that helps with anything ,
Once i delete the error with delphi soft , the car works again at full power untill it gets the same error again, its very frustrating , it happened to me 4 times already.

Please help guys , i hope its not something really bad and expensive to fix , i just bought this car. Thanks in advance.

 

Looks like there is leak in boost. You need to find out where it leaks, fix the problem and then delete the CEL.
You cannot just delete CEL expecting to be fixed.

 

I had the same issue when under heavy acceleration. I had to fill it with 89 octane (station was out of 91+) and once I switched back to 91+ I have not had the issue again.

Take it back to the seller and have them fix it.

 

Forgive the question and I'm new here, how did you know it was a diesel?

 

Probably by looking at the tachometer .. 4 1/4 is already in the red area.

 

all fixed guys , it was a cracked air hose
