Blower Motor Resistor Location 2011 C300

I have purchased a replacement Blower Motor Resistor (not a Blower Motor Regulator) for my 2011 W204 C300.

According to info I have been able to find online the Resistor is supposed to be to the right of the Blower Motor near the firewall. (See Pic 1) But
it appears the Mercedes made mid model W204 updates to the C300 and in my 2011 C300 (See Pic 2) there is no Blower Motor Resistor to the right of
the Blower Motor.

The Blower Motor Regulator is easy to spot and remove in PIC 2 but I want to replace the Resistor at this time and not the Regulator.

Anyone happen to have access to WIS and can share the location for the Resistor?

(Side note---I did check at dealer before purchasing the Blower Motor Resistor and my VIN does have a Blower Motor Resistor...so am 99% sure that the Regulator functions have not replaced the Resistor functions (You would need to have a heat sink I would think for a Resistor function) but if someone knows otherwise let me know.

Thanks

Ok...no responses so figured this out on my own.

Essentially Mercedes did indeed make modifications on the later W204's (C300) produced after Mid 2010 and those vehicles DO NOT have a Blower Motor Resistor..only a Blower Motor Regulator.

After taking out the existing Blower Motor Regulator and replacing with a new one...the AC Blower Motor comes on and stays on consistently.

Anyway am just posting the solution to this issue in case anyone else has a similar issue since these forums have very low activity...

Cannot just rely on the diagrams, sometimes you have to look to see what is actually installed.

I have a 2010 204.081. When i look at the diagram there is two part #s listed for the regulator. (actually pictures a resistor #100 in the diagram)

Its this way with most parts.
