Good day all. I have a 2013 C180 (with the turbo charged 1.6) which has the 7g tronic plus gearbox. It makes a squeaking noise sort of by the transmission. The squeak gets quicker if I accelerate and is there whether the car is standing still in park, in drive, neutral or reverse. It actually sounds a bit worse in drive and gets quicker the faster I go. Sometimes it is barely audible and isn't there as much after I have driven a while. I have been to dealership multiple times and of course whenever I'm there, the noise is very faint. I left it with them over night as well and was told all the noises were normal. But with me not there after it was left over night and a noisy workshop, maybe they just couldn't hear it. It is not the belts or any pulley. It comes more from the back of the engine where the engine meets the transmission. They recently also did a transmission oil change but only the main fluid (thus excluding the torque converter). The car only has 43,000 kms (or 26,700 miles). Any advice would be greatly appreciated as the dealer isn't helping me.
