Front end collision sensor accidentally triggered
I had previously posted about my car not starting after replacing a HID ballast on the drivers side headlight. AZN Optics suggested that I might have triggered the front collision sensor when removing the bumper, causing fuel cutoff to engine safety precaution to kick in. This makes much more sense to me than it being the Brake Light Switch, which I was about to replace (brake lights not lighting when pedal is pushed).
I'm wondering how I approach this issue. How can I reset the sensor? Do I have to tow it to the dealer to do?
