W204 "Sport" shock opinion - OEM SACHS or Bilstien B4s?

Hey guys-hoping for some feedback: 2008 w204 "sport" with 156k miles on the clock. Car drives and rides surprisingly well, but I'm thinking it's time to replace shocks. Any opinions on Stock OEM verses Bilstien b4s? Pros/Cons? Will also be replacing springs with Eibach "pro-kit" and replace rear shock pads from 10mm to 5mm. Any feedback appreciated. -f.

B4 are slightly uprated so no brainer .

B4 with Eibach Pro are a proven combination and sometimes sold as sets .

Don't forget new top mounts .

Depends if you want yellow bananas or unmodified stealth looking OE shocks that are slightly uprated .

I have Eibach Pro kit with Bilstein B4 dampers on another car and I struggle to feel how it could be improved .

B6 & B8 would be firmer , possibly detrimental to ride quality .

Thanks to everyone. Very helpful, especially the tip for the top mounts I'll add those. Sounds like the Blistiens are the better choice for me, as I don't what to risk a harsher ride. I've had the car since new and I was always impressed with the ride quality. It wasn't always my daily driver, as I upgraded and gave the car to each of my kids to drive for a while til they got their own cars. So I lost track of it for a while but started driving it recently. Forgot how much I like it. It's been a good to us, so decided to keep it. With 156k and needing some TLC, it certainly doesn't feel new anymore, but still rides impressively. Glad to know these are uprated from OEM.
The only issue now is waiting for the rears to come in from back order. Thanks again. -fabo

Don't forget to report back .

And don't forget to choose the 'Sport' version of the dampers this includes those changing from standard suspension to use with Eibach Pro .

I'm also going to do Eibach Pro and Bilstein B4 on a S204 with AMG Sport suspension even though I have half your mileage .

The sooner they're on the sooner I can enjoy .

Mines not worn , and although you say yours rides great knowing Eibach & Bilstein I think there's a significant improvement to be had .
