Darn it, it wasn't a big deal to me at purchase time because I thought I could do this. The VIN is WDDGF8AB1ER320478 .Thank you for looking it up for me!

xserver - I was hoping you could help me, same question but for a 2013 c250. Vin WDDGF4HBXDR260696 . I have the door handles that lock/unlock as you mentioned. If I can add this, do you know what part # I would need to order?

Quick update - Since I had the keyless go, I bought the start/stop button. I installed (about 10 seconds) and it and works with no issues, nothing needed to be programmed or matched to the VIN. Could not have been easier.

If you don't mind, what did you pay for the button and did you buy through dealership? Mine has keyless go, as well, but did not have the button when bought. I believe a dealership quote was about $150 new but not sure if it would work just as well if I bought through Ebay or wrecking yard.

Mine was a CPO as well through MB Rocklin. But also being a LEASE return that came with keyless go and sold to me as a CPO without it. Von Housen Autos is great all around but the Sacramento dealership seems to stock all the good stuff.

MB Rocklin quoted me $62 ($58+4 tax) for keyless go button which they had in stock, which basically plugs into the slot where the key goes.

It's not as easy as purchasing the button. If the car did not come from the factory with this feature, it's very difficult to retrofit it. If you provide the VIN of the car, I can decode it and double check whether it has the feature from the factory of not. The feature's code is 889.

MY 2012 SL550 vin number is WDBSK7BA5CF168508 and has keyless start with no button in key insert. Is mine capable of START/STOP button insert?
