VIN Decoder
When I use the VIN decoder it says my car takes two different tire sizes on the tront and back. Why are there two different front sizes and two different rear sizes? Could that be the AMG version?
P255/40R18, P225/40R18 Front
P285/35R18, P255/35R18 Rear
My car is not the AMG and it has the smaller tires on it.

It's a Mercedes thing. My C300 has 245s in the back and 225s in the front and my 04' c230 was set up the same and the back wheels should be toed in a little as well, this is for driving on the autobahn. If the guy doing your alignment doesn't know what he is doing, you will chew thru tires really fast as I did. I went thru a brand new set of rears on my 230 in six months.
