Does car owner need to be present for warranty service?

My mom’s car needs some warranty work done so she asked me if I could take it in when I am free. Will they have any issues with this or should she be present to sign the forms needed for repair?

Only if your steering lock keys are involved, I had to prove to the dealer I bought the car from I was me.
