Rear ended...
The one month new to me 2014 C300 was rear ended Sunday by an elderly lady in a Lexus. Insurance determined it was her fault. I should have an estimate by her company tomorrow, who already told me they won't pay for OEM parts. I obviously told them that was the wrong answer, and that it would be fixed by the MB dealership. I also mentioned diminished value to follow... Rental is being covered by her company tomorrow as well. Anything else I should be considering in the next couple days?
Initial damage I can tell is rear bumper cover busted and possible exhaust damage. Interior headliner, drivers lower seat, and a little of the dash was covered in Coke Zero, because I had just opened it. Except a sore lower back, which checked out as ok (I had surgery last March), no medical issues.
Not looking to cheat or anything, just interested in making my vehicle like it was before the accident.
