ESP ignition starter issue

ESP ignition starter issue
So for the last past 18 months my C230 started doing this when I started in the mornings displays ESP visit workshop the car will start but the engine revs up and down up and down
So I have replaced the ESP module I replace the key Farb and still continues to have this issue I noticed that when I start the car in the mornings and it does this ESP turning the key on and off on and off on and off numerous times then the car will start normal anyone experiencing this issue.
I guess my next step is to replace the ignition module which is not cheap.
