Aux/iPod Connection Standard?

So I am looking to buy an 08 C-class Avant-garde with 114k miles and I have one question about the aux/iPod connection .When I test drove the car, I saw that the glovebox had the hole drilled pit pit where the iPod or aux input should be but the hole was empty. My question is, where these wires standard? I know how to switch the connections out via the side panel but I was not able to look as I was only test driving the car. If it is not standard, how difficult would it but to add the aux wire?

Edit: I'll also add that it has the COMAND system but it is the stationary one without the navigation. It is the small one with radio/CD only. Does this mean it has the MMI port? I found the aux option in the radio but did not look for the MMI port in the glovebox that the e-class has from those model years.
