CLC180 battery replacement, 100 Ah or similar?
My 2010 CLC180 Kompressor needs a battery replacement. I believe it's been running with the original battery since start (8-9 years?!) or it has been replaced by a previous owner at a Mercedes repair store since there is a Mercedes sticker on the VARTA battery. Anyhow, the battery says that it has 100 Ah and whenever I search for batteries for my model (I search by plate number), the results are 60+ Ah but never goes over 80 Ah. Yet the battery inside the car is 100 Ah. Any idea why that is? I have a hard time finding a 100 Ah replacement as they seem to be low in stock everywhere. I found a 95 Ah but I'm not comfortable in swapping a battery out for a weaker (even though probably stronger than the broken one).
Worth noting is that I installed a touch stereo last year so I believe it needs more power than originally specified.
I'll upload a photo for you to see. Is that battery acid to the negative by the way? And why doesn't the indicator say that it needs replacement as it obviously needs to? The car won't start at all but after a full recharge it lived for two whole weeks and then died again.
Thanks in advance!

The AH rating is not as important as the CCA and you need the correct physical size.
When you are driving all the electrical load is met by the alternator. The battery is only used for starting or running the system when you are parked up.

Update: We swapped the battery out with a 100 Ah (830 A) and the car starts! Maybe I'll come back if the problem comes back even with the new battery.
