Losing coolant at 300ml per week

Hi all, glad to have found this forum.
We have a 2008 C300. It has begun losing coolant at a rate of about 300ml/week. I see no signs of leakage. I am a very novice mechanic, but am determined to get good with this vehicle.
Since this began as winter set in, I assume it's likely due to a heating issue...perhaps something to do with the heater core? Please tell me what to look for. Thanks!

No, the oil level has actually gone down just a bit rather than up. The oil is a little darker than I'm used to seeing, but we've only had the car about 18 months. Is there a good way to tell for sure, rather than just by appearance and level?
Thanks.

This video shows most of the methods to find out coolant lose issues. It does require the purchase of the tools so it would be cheaper and more proactive to just bring the car to a mercedes specialist that can do all those tests. Did you remove undercarriage tray and checked for leaks ? A leaking heater core would result in coolant on the interior floor and you would smell in through the vents right away.
