Climate control
My climate control defaults to a/c always. Is this normal? It's middle of winter in Ohio.
Also I had a engine warning light for a couple weeks. I did the same thing I always do. Nothing... It went away.

This is the automatic climate controls default setting when selecting "Auto" mode. If you don't want the A/C on, just press the A/C button to turn it off (the system will remain in full auto mode)! It is recommended run the A/C for a few minutes every month or so during the winter though. If you need to use the defroster, press the the defroster button again to revert back to the previous setting (likewise with the "A/C" and "Off" buttons).
There is no need to keep switching operating modes, fan speeds or even turn the system off. You may need to make slight temperature adjustments from time to time, but otherwise leave...it.....alone!
