W204 No Power At All

Hello,

I'm having some trouble with my 2010 C300. I was using it the day before yesterday and it had no issues. Yesterday I wanted to go use it and the wireless entry didn't work. I used hard key to get in and there was absolutely no power. I used the key to try to turn the car on and it didn't work. The information cluster didn't work. The car has absolutely no power anywhere. I thought it's the battery so I got my friend to give me a jump but no luck. I did a little search and thought it might be a blown fuse so I got a multimeter and checked the resistance of all the fuses in the front and the trunk. They were (unfortunately) all good.

I don't know what this could be. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Was it absolutely nothing? No clicking? No sound at all? Could it be the ignition module/switch?

its probably your esl malfunctioning
when you put your key in the ignition d you get the winding noise to that authorises your esl and eis ?
if not its probably the esl it happened to me and i **** myself then with some research i managed to fi it ...but be warned its a big job and u should only attempt if u can get the esl to unlock
and only attempt to open the esl if your skill level with electronic is somewhat good...

heres a clip

hope this will help you out

Hi Pvaz,
The issue is the SAM unit , if you are getting power to the dash and radio etc works then its the EIS unit , check the relay for this , otherwise, no power at all means SAM unit
TEST:
remove the alternation connection to the SAM unit and connect a battery charge to the jump point on the unit , under the RED slider and connect the groung unit to ground, if you still get no power at all you need to replace the same unit. its a pain to get out

hope that helps
