So i am trying to swap my current arm rest to a designo red ( this is on a w218 but the w204 uses the same internal design) and was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the tabs that are holding it.

Bar that seems to hold the whole thing together at the end of the arm rest


So far I have tried twisting that bar and pulling with no luck.
I have tried messing with the front tab and seeing if it will pop out at all and luck there either.

Not sure if it is even possible right now.


Any suggestions would be welcomed.
