C350 dont start
Hi i am new to this forum did some searching but did not find anything about my problem.
My car is a W204 C350 2007 LHD model i have from 02.2013 car has no impact. Car started acting up the engine cranks but no ignition sometimes i try for 20 min till the engine starts. Friend suggested to replace the fuel filter ( kinda expensive for a filter ) which i did and engine started from the first turn of the key, Two weeks later same thing i try to start the engine and its cranking but no ignition. Car has new battery tried even with cables from another car same thing engine wont start. i am in a dead end dont know where to look aside form fuel pump. btw in those 2 week car was running very nice had a lot of power and suddenly it died on me. would appreciate any help thanks

I understood the filter is part of the pump, so both is replaced thats why it sounds expensive, thats what the dealer told me C350 2008.
I assume your symptoms are exactly the same as before, just a wild thought....
I was thinking, seeing your engine cranks and battery replaced, and was ok when filter/pump replaced for a period, I as thinking whats in your tank-?
Did you fill up from a place you normally do not-? Maybe filter is blocked again-?

Have you tried connecting it to an OBD-II reader? Even if your CEL is not on, it might have triggered a code that is "pending" and therefore it has not trigerred a CEL.
An advanced OBD-II reader can also provide some insight on fuel mixture as well as ignition functionality which can end up being a problem solver!

no codes at all have read the car with star diagnostics ... however i remember check engine came up a while ago and it had something to do with my chain was software removed but still have to fix it im not sure if that chain has anything to do with my problem
