2013 C300 Windshield Wiper Doesn't Come Off

Hey guys, anyone have a problem where the windshield wiper doesn't come off? I watched several youtube tutorials and it seems like I should be able to just slide the wiper off the pin after lifting the wiper arm & tilting the blade. However, the hole in my wipers are the exact size of the pin, so it doesn't slide off... Any idea how I can get this off?

Looks like debris, rust, grit, et. al. may be causing the blade hole to bind..try some WD40 or other penetrating oil. Are these after market wiper blades that used blade adaptors to fit ?

Corrosion will jam it up. A quick spray of some wd40, 5 min and some wiggling will loosen it

My OEM wiper blades don't show the pin open to the elements/protruding. There's a plastic cover on the glass side covering the pin/hole.

Thanks guys, you guys are awesome. I put some WD-40 on the pin and with some wiggle it came right off!

I was not careful though... So I retracted the arm after taking the wiper blade off and it cracked the windshield... Would I have to replace the whole windshield for that? :'(

Oh Shoot! I've read a lot about this happening to people not paying attention where the arm would strike the windshield and crack it. Very sorry to hear this. You'll have to take it to a windshield repair shop and see if there's any repairs they can do. Otherwise, just find one from the junk yard and have it replaced.

I changed the wiper blades on my car last week and I was soooo careful with the arms after everything I read online about them smacking the windshield.

Geez, I did the same thing on my brother's BMW. Your insurance may have glass coverage or at least a deductible if you have full coverage.
