EIS/ESL German engineering
The one time I park my car diagonally in my driveway because I'm thinking I'm going to drop something off and leave, as I get back in, nothing.
So swapped battery, checked fuses, did everything. So it's this situation.
I actually listen to my ESL and it never sounded like it was on its way out. I could be wrong and hopefully I am, because if it is EIS then it's a bigger problem.
It's stuck in the locked position. Any tips on how to remove are appreciated, I've read most of the threads and watched most of the videos. When it comes to ESL, it's simple, but EIS coding is what gets me. I don't know anyone who has STAR near me. So if it is the EIS, then I guess I should get the emulator then? Since either way it has to be coded...however, how can I find a place to code it?

You probaly tried wiggling the steering wheel. Over engineering from behind a desk has consequences, and in some countries this might cost you your life.

So my steering column has the electronic adjustments and whatnot, and seems too big to pull out...anyone else have this issue?
There are lots of base model and euro spec ones which do not have electronic motors/adjustments and therefore can be pulled straight out or easily. Not such here.
