Expected future problems 2012 C300 50k and up
Hello. I’m looking to purchase a 2012 C300 4 matic. The vehicle has 56k miles on it, with a clean car fax. I’ve never owned a Benz but have heard they are costly for maintance/repairs. I’m wondering if I’m in for an expensive experience with this car? Are there costly common issues I should expect with this car and mileage or future issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

My 2 cents:
Nothing disastrous to expect that I am aware of - Need to make sure maintenance has been kept up to date and keep the maintenance up to date. Find a good Indy Mercedes repair shop with fair prices and pay the cost of maintenance - not cheap, but these are nice, reliable cars if properly maintained. You might look at the recommended/required maintenace to see what to expect.
I own a 2008 Lux (46,000 miles), and have owned a 2013 Sport - a bit of a harsh ride, and a 2014 Lux made available to my son and his wife.
Good luck on your search.

This is one of the most reliable cars, like, ever.
I'm not even kidding here, for further clarity.
Go for it. You won't regret it.

Probably the biggest thing is to change the transmission fluid. It is recommended to do that every 40K miles. If you don't have any evidence it has already been done so it when you get the car.

I am just over 67000 miles on my 2013 C350 Coupe with no issues whatsoever. Other than recalls and navigation updates, no dealer action needed. I perform all my maintenance with Mercedes WIS documents and perform every required maintenance item.

Honestly if you maintain things yourself, these are pretty cheap cars to maintain.
2012 extremely reliable
So, we usually let the cry baby's go to BMW
