My car's displaying "B9 service due in 25 days" .... I know what the "B" service consists of, but cannot find "B9" in any websearch or the manual. Does the 9 have any particular meaning?

Also, curious, the book says B service comes at 20K miles, and I just turned 15K. Does the computer have some kind of smarts to detect that my driving pattern requires service earlier than the stated mileage?

My 2011 service reminder counts the date not the driven mileage. I believe in the owners manual of most manufacturers it says time or miles whichever comes first.

Hi, My C350 CDi (2011) needs a B9 service and i've been quoted £550 which seems expensive. The car has covered 55K miles and had a major service including gbf at 47K miles. The last service was about a year ago (51k miles) Does this sound about right?
