#1- I just had my throttle body gasket replaced and now my RPMs are extremely jerky up revs and down revs , It even revs up extra when switching into 2nd to 3rd gear... is there a re learn for this ? #2 Now at idle I have extreme rough conditions p0300 random multiple misfires, I have cylinder 1-3-5 misfiring None of this was here before the throttle body job, except a stored cylinder 4 misfire which never showed any symptoms..**now here’s the thing as soon as I start driving, it doesn’t putter or act like it’s misfiring unless I’m going less then 5mph and if I hit my brakes just right , it literally jerks me back and fourth pretty bad.
#3 I also now have the notorious beep noise that comes from engine ya happens once every 15-20 seconds.
HERES WHAT IVE DONE SO FAR
swapped coils and spark plugs from 2 and 6 with every other coil no change in idle or codes. Still no misfire on 2 or 6 so I think fair to rule out coils.... I’ve checked the spark plugs they’ve got a little carbon build up but nothing to make my car run like this. NOW THIS ONLY HAPPENED AFTER THE THROTTLE BODY JOB. Im at a loss can any one help? Here’s a few diag pics
Not sure but from past experience I would make sure every electrical connector/hose has been reconnected correctly any where near the TB area work zone.
Everything should be connected I watched him do the job I’ve re taken off the maf replaces it with another one I had , took off the boot inspected connections the throttle body is not making a louder noise you can hear it Open and close and it’s only showing misfire symptoms at idle when I start moving the car drives very nicely. Could this be maybe fuel filter related I don’t think I’ve ever changed it.
