Can anyone tell me if a work around. I have aux with 3.5mm jack. Very poor sound. Is there an software upgrade available to enable music like Spotify to be played? If not can I upgrade the MB stereo to a newer model to enable this?
have spoken to Mercedes who do not seem bothered as car is now old.

 

I ordered a bluetooth streamer from amazon. It won't work with an Aux connector, but with the iPod media interface cable it works perfectly, and you can use your steering wheel controls as well...music is displayed on the screen too. I had to get a new media interface cable and found it on Ebay for about $45.
