2011 300 - HELP, No start

My wife went on a trip tis weekend and of course 100 miles away from home after stopping, the car would no longer fire. Dead, no sounds, no lights on the dash other than the center mileage counter screen.

Towed all the way home, the tow truck driver unloads the car and it fires like nothing had happened. Drove the car into the garage to deal with it. Had the battery charged with my charger just to be sure, this morning the car is not starting with the same symptoms as described above.

- What could be the issue?
- How do I get the car out of park into neutral to have it towed?

Thanks in advance.

The transmission release switch is hidden under the trim piece around the shift control. Once the trim piece is off, you can see down there, a green plastic piece close to cup holder near passenger side.
I happened to see it when I was trying to fix the cup holder clip. I believe I saw it on YouTube.

Thank you very much. Yes, you are correct. In the meantime, I checked YouTube as well and found the information there. Thanks again.
