Help me make the jump (Made jump)

Edit: Bought car, photo below.

How’s it going guys. First post here. I’ve been shopping for a new (used) car for the last month. My first car being a BMW which I loved and had for over 5 yrs.

I ended up not really seeing anything trust worthy for those, so I decided to look at a Benz I had found online. It’s a 2013 C300 Sport. 61K. 2 Owners. One “accident” reported in 2013 with 10k. I didn’t see any body damage at all on the vehicle. For $13,000. 28 recorded maintenances on the vehicle. Last one being last month. By the dealer it’s self. I asked about the 60K service being done. The salesmen’s and finance wasn’t sure and said they’ll get back to me. They understood it would really be displeasing if that wasn’t done prior to me buying the vehicle next week. From what I’ve researched is, that this is a pretty pricy service job. It would be an inconvenience to have to possibly pay $1,400 (Nyc) for the job. After I put some time
into her. I wouldn’t mind keeping up with the maintenance necessary.

Do do you guys recommend this car build? Is this year particularly reliable. As a past BMW owner, I understand the cost of yearly maintenance of what these cars would
be.

TLDR- Looking at 2013 C300 Sport with 61K at $13k. 2 Owners, 1 “accident”, 28 maintenance recorded. Reliable? Issue prone?
Buy Or run?

Any and all feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You better off with a 2012 it is last year m272 engine. In 2013 they put in new engine, first year production, I've read it had issues..

Thanks for the feedback bro. It’s honestly the best vehicle I’ve been able to find in my area so far. I’ll know more when the pre inspection mechanic visits on Tuesday.

Factory ordered 2012 MB C350 w/Dynamic Handling Package
Original owner of a 2012 C350 sedan here. Other than sticking to the regular service intervals every 10k miles and replacing the rear differential fluid @ 90k, everything has been trouble free (currently ~125k miles on the odometer). Something to keep in mind however, this car does NOT see snow (I use summer tires), and is garaged daily so un-necessary exposure to the sun/elements is minimized (I also do not have any door dings, so this should give you a good idea how the car has been treated).

I appreciate the reply. I’m located in nyc, but plan on moving into Florida before I see snow so I might be able to say the same. Right now being that the car is at 61K. I’m hoping not too much has to be replaced.

I did some local quotes too. Nothing too crazy. Just what I expected from this kind of make.

Alright guys, made the jump! Car feels good. I just need to change these headlights. Left side really oxidized, if I got that right. Autozone cleaner didn’t work. I wanted a different design anyway. Gonna change tires, back rear disc plates. Then get a inspection for the 60K service to see what’s done.

Any advice for a new bens owner?
Also, the cigarette lighter in the car doesn’t seem to work. I pushed it in and it doesn’t pop out. Any trick to this? Or just defective.

Thanks in advance guys

Definitely change the headlights to bi-xenon ones. The car will look completely different!

Not sure which year the car is but if it has the 7G transmission, you need a transmission fluid and filter change at 40k miles. If it's the 7G+, it'll be at 70k miles although I wouldn't wait until 70k miles and would do it before.
Regarding the cigarette lighter, maybe it's a blown fuse.

Good luck.

So just today I found something that has to do with a rack attachment, for the top of the car. One of the covers is missing. Small, but something like that will bother me. Where can I get a replacement piece for this?

Thanks in advance.
