2008 C350 sport AMG package 180,000 miles

Two questions. Is my engine/car too old or high in mileage to tune? 180k miles. Currently has Magnaflow exhaust tips and installing cold air intake this weekend. My second question is if I should do anything to my car before tuning? Such as new spark plugs or new battery before doing it. Anything special? Pls help me out. Yes I know it’s not an AMG. Decals are for humor.

Honestly I wouldn't bother.

Which tune would you go with anyways? Half are fake.

I was going with a company called “OC TUNING” not “OE TUNING” I went on yelp and seen a lot of good reviews for “oc tuning” no bad reviews vs the 4 bad reviews on “OE tuning “ they were going to tell me tomorrow when they open back up. I can wait I’m not impatient . I want to make sure the software is 100% authentic and that no problems come up. Is there a specific software I should go with or shouldn’t ? Thanks for your two cents I honestly might not do it after all. I’m fine with a cold air intake and exhausts . BUT if it’s possible to tune and not have any issues then I’m willing to do so.

The most important thing to do first is to take off the AMG badge. It’s not humorous, it’s just posing.

Once that has been done, take the car to the dealer and make sure your firmware/software is up to date.

Then go get a tune.

Won't get much out of a tune kit for a NA engine (compared to a turbo). If you really want power buy a real AMG 😀

If you don’t like the AMG badge then you can go suck it. Lmao I can put whatever the **** I want on my car. If you don’t like it like I said go suck a fat ****. I don’t do it to pose. I do it because I like how closely the C350 sport body kit is sooooo similar to the c63 AMG . People mistake my car all the time for a c63 even with the stupid C350 badge . But THANKS for your two sense. It was definitely worth the wait to see your reply 🤣🤣🤣

I’m not looking for power I’m looking for better fuel consumption most importantly but if the tune makes it strong then I guess you can say I never really cared about that . I want my car running 100%. I just rebuilt the transmission recently . Shifts super smooth now and drives a lot faster than before. So are you guys saying that 180k miles isn’t bad to be tuning?

You were so butt hurt from my comment that you’ve quoted my same post twice within 6 minutes. This means you’re back here rereading my comment, over and over. It must have gotten under your skin.

Have fun with your car, at least now you know one of the reasons people point and laugh at you while you’re driving.

Taking the badge off would at least stop people laughing at you about one thing. I can’t help you on all the other reasons people point and laugh at you, though.

Sorry.

You seem agitated.

I bet taking that AMG badge off your car would calm your nerves a bit, you wouldn’t need to frantically respond to my post.

Yea if we were adults we wouldn’t be talking **** to each other huh? All I asked was what should I do before tuning my car. No one asked for his opinion. I asked for the CORRECT ANSWER. Mercedes cars are so technical and don’t like a lot of aftermarket parts. As I only buy OEM parts . He coulda just said “update your software if you need one “ and then go get a tune. No one needed his comment especially the way he even says it. I laughed it off and he still has the nerve to say “people laugh at me and point at me “ lmao what a grown up he is. It’s people like him that make Honda drivers think we are so snobby .

This is what happens when depreciation kicks in and children can finance $10k over 7 years.

Like I said, have fun with your car. I can’t wait to see the 6.3L/C 63 badges on it in the near future.

I’m not putting anymore badges on the car it’s only the AMG badge that makes your PP so Small . Idk why it bothers you so much. No one has ever said anything . Even the real Mercedes car clubs have asked me to join their club but to take off the AMG unless I’m going to full on put the AMG kit on it. Which I already got. They respectfully told me in a way that wasn’t rude. Unlike you. And oh I didn’t finance I paid cash baby boy. I don’t work or live an ordinary life like you.

I thought you were getting C63 front and rear bumpers painted? Did you change plans and have the car wrapped/painted instead?

Did you ever get your tune? If so, from who and how do you like it?

Did you put the AMG badge back on after you wrapped it?

You have a broken fog light, BTW. You should use the cash from all that hustling you do in the extraordinary, special life you lead.
