Recommendation on tires for lease ending soon
I have a 2017 C300 Sedan sedan which came with the Continental ProContact R18 run-flats. It has almost 25,000 miles on it but I only have about 9 months and less than 10,000 miles left on the lease. Unfortunately I've been told by the dealership and a reputable import service department that my tires have at the most 3,000 miles left on them. My dilemma is I don't want to spend a lot of money on tires for a car that I will not be driving for too much longer . So I guess the first question is since it's a lease, do I have to put the same type of tires on? If not, any recommendations on a good, lower price-point tire? This is the first pair of tires I've had to buy for a leased car so please forgive my ignorance. Any and all advice would be appreciated!

Your lease should specify the tires, usually the Mercedes “MO” (Mercedes Optimized) tire

Pretty sure this should be in the W205 forum but your best bet is to call any Mercedes Dealership in your city/town and ask the hypothetical question of “If my tires need replaced on a lease, what tires need to be purchased to stay within the lease agreement?”. Or ask where this would be explained in the lease.
Don't go into any great detail, just ask the question, get your answer and now you’re not wasting time or money buying the wrong product.
