Hello guys,
I bought recently a c class model 2012 that have maps of usa , i want to update my navigation system, to take new maps of my country (Lebanon).
How can i get and install the new maps without buying the maps from mercedes website or shop.

The navigation update requires an activation code.
This code can only be obtained via a dealership OR some online sellers can provide a code and a link to download the map update for your area.
I have read conflicting information if a firmware update of the COMAND unit itself is required when updating from older map versions. As far as I understand, the firmware update is also coded and this is something only a dealership can do, but most won’t/can’t do it or do not even know it exists.
