DTC 2054-00 and engine light error
Engine light is on and manual tells me, it is an injection or exhaust problem in my C220 CDI, just when I am being told my 135,000km service is due! Thinking conspiracy. So I pull out my MB2 iCarsoft diagnostic and it comes up with:
"DTC 2054-00 The AD converter of the control module N3/9 (CDI control unit) is faulty"
Analogue/digital converter of some N3/9 chip? Where is it? What can I do? Dr Google comes up with 26 or more funny answers, like get a new ECU, pay AUS$2,500? Should I go to a Merc dealer and get a Star diagnosis? P2054-00 seems to be a common problem, though and comes up in BMWs and other cars. What can I do?
