Exactly. This guy would have everyone driving a 1980 Honda Civic. He has good advice at times but he has extreme prejudice towards German cars. It's good advice for people who can't afford it.

Well guess what , my old 1991 Toyota Celica 2.0 GT was far more reliable than my S204 and that's 7 years ownership Vs 3 !

Don’t have to guess. I’ve had 2 Toyotas. Reliable, but not really pleasant to drive. I know many people who drive them. They sell millions of them.

My W204 C250 (M271) has not been the paragon of reliability because of the engine. But the down time has been minimal and MB has extended coverage in the US. The rest of my MBs were, by comparison, as good or even better than my Toyotas.
