Attemtpting to night package most of my car, thoughts?

Hello fellow Benzos, earlier this year i was fortunate enough to find a white 2013 C300 4MATIC with the 956 package which I was searching for. I have always loved the night package the newer models come from the dealership so i am trying to replicate as much as i can... if you have any suggestions, that would be great and appreciated. you can currently see the progress on my Instagram if you have one @c300w204 i would love to hear from all of you as fellow W204 owners.

Yep. As mentioned, vinyl wrapping is about as simple as it can get for the results that you are looking for.

Yes. Vinyl will fade after some time. Paint will fade after some time. Similarly, factory Mercedes black trim pieces have been known to fade over time and turn purple-ish as well. It comes down to how well you care for your car and how it is stored. You can easily get 4-6 years out of vinyl, if cared for properly. Realistically speaking, it is a moot point when it comes to trim pieces. They are small and can be easily redone/replaced if they happen to fade after ~4-6 years of having it on the car.

that's very true...at this point it's probably a price factor and vinyl is probably cheaper.....thank you!!!

I checked out your Instagram nice looking car i started out with all white to and eventually added black accents everywhere such as the roof, side mirrors, rims, spoiler and diffuser. I painted all of them at first except the roof which i did vinyl it cost me 400 and totally regret it because it faded after just one year. I ended up ripping it off and painting it. Just somwthitng to think about. The paint lasts way longer than vinly.

I use 3M 1080 vinyl on the roof and except the part where I screwed up, it looks pretty much new, and it's been at least a year. My car sits outside, and also goes through Wisconsin winters, every day.

Plasti dip is also an option but it won't be as smooth of a gloss. My grill and bottom lip are dipped.

THANK YOU! Work in progress, see that's exactly what i heard about the vinyl. They told me it looks great but it will fade soon and you will have to continue to get it replaced every so often. I'm a car detailer so I think i can make paint last way longer than vinyl.
