Keyless go and Distronic?

I was looking at purchasing a used 2013 C250 and was trying to figure out a few things. When I run the car I am looking at through the datamb site it shows that the car has keyless go, but all the pictures of the car show the key in the ignition. When I run the car on the vin checker here it doesnt say anything about the keyless go. I cant see the door handles well enough and haven't had a chance to talk to the seller. If the doors have the unlock when you put your hand through them then does this car have the keyless go and I just need a new push button?

Also on another topic was the Distronic available on the C250 in this model year? It would be nice for my commute when I hit the bumper to bumper traffic.

The terminology has been confusing, but between SmartKey, Keyless Go and Keyless Start, they have provided cars that use a start button, cars that open with the key in your pocket, and cars that do both. I just had a 2019 loaner that had Keyless Go (keyless entry) but not Keyless Start (you have to put the key in the ignition switch).

The loaner probably just didn’t have the button in the dash as it can be removed and stolen/lost.

My key is totally different, without the extension that fits in the ignition switch. There's no provision for removing the button and physically using the key. If the key battery dies, there's an NFC pad for the key that will work. I'm not sure why other 2019s would have a removable button.

Adding: I'm not doubting you, just amazed that there are such different types of Smart Keys and Keyless Go systems in one model year.

I highly doubt Distronic was available on the W204 C-class. I think it only got offered starting with the W205.

FWIW, that's no longer the case in the 2019+. MB has a confusing history of keyless go/start and yes the past system had this strange removable button that revealed a "keyhole". This could be the case for the car OP is looking at. Even if it has keyless start, you can remove the button and then physically stick in the key and turn to start making it look like it doesn't have keyless start.

With the 2019s, MB has finally overhauled the system. Well, actually I believe the new key fobs and system was first introduced with the current E class and they are just rolling out across the entire model range. The fobs look very different now, and also have a motion sensor in them to protect against the increasing number of relay attacks. The new fobs stop sending out a signal if they haven't sensed any movement for a few minutes, so that ensures if you park your car in front of the house and leave the key hanging or sitting by the door, a thieve can't break into the car and even drive away with it using the popular relay attack.

The new smart key fobs look like this:

Thanks so much for the clarification and correction. I haven’t had the pleasure of driving a 2019+ and my assumptions were wrong about the removable button.

Glad they have figured out some way of trying to help block those relay attacks.

Facelifted W204 had it. I have the DOG for the 2014 E63 in front of me:
997pkg -- Driver Assistance Package
C63 Edition 507: $2,950
233 -- DISTRONIC PLUS (with PRE-SAFE (R) Brake)
237 -- Active Blind Spot Assist
238 -- Active Lane Keeping Assist

So the "dealer" that has the car says that it has the feature because of the way the door handles look, but he said it is not functioning and a MB dealer would have to reprogram. When I search online the only reprogramming I can find is done by the user and is a resync type situation where you stick the key in the ignition then remove and within 10 seconds you hold the lock button then simultaneously press unlock 5 times then release all and press the truck release. Does this sound like the issue? I would hate to buy the car only to fins out something is fubar and I would need to drop more money into it.
