Rear Speakers to Components - 4 Door
Guys i have done alot of researching i wont go into detail but i am firm on my audio build and what i want to do. I need advice before i take my car apart. I have referred to the guides and images made by someone about rear speaker replacements but im hoping there has been more options available for rear speakers and potentially a better method in not hacking up the old speaker.
Current set up: 2013 C63 with Harmon Kardon Logic 7
Proposed set up: Audison BITDMI, BIT 10 DSP, Run a 4 channel amplifier & mono amplifier. Intention is to run front and rear components in the doors.
My question is: Has any body run component speakers in the rear doors?
What kind of speaker depths can the current hold, How much more effort is it removing the speakers cleanly without cutting and using the stock baskets? Where can a cross over and tweeter be mounted. My intention was to mount the tweeter to the dummy tweeter covers (Use a clean wide holesaw and flush mount a tweeter here. It looks absolutely tiny and i will need to source a set of rear components with a small tweeter.
Has anyone attempted this?

Thanks man, I have watched this video but he covers the front speakers and not the rear. Im looking to specifically fit component speakers in the rear doors and also wanted to gain an understanding of what speaker depths would work on the back doors.
