slight needle fluctuation while idling. New parts installed.

I just changed out my spark plugs and engine coils on my C250 2012 luxury. This is the first time this has been done as I bought the car used with 86000 miles. The reason I did this was because I got an error code for the 3rd cylinder so I decided to change them all out. I just started the engine and noticed a very slight shake at idle that dissipated quickly but then I noticed my rpm moving up and down +/- 30. Is this normal because I just installed new parts? Anything I should look out for?

I don't know the cause but it's not normal.
Did you change your engine filter yet? I have used Liqui Molly injector clear and got good results.

No, I have not. I see this has to be changed around every 40k miles and I doubt the previous owner did. However, I have also found in other places in this forum that the rpm needle moving is considered normal on these models...

I suppose I should go to the shop and have the codes run again and see if anything comes up.

Needle fluctuates a little every now and than, specially if you have ac running even thou the computer compensates for that but if it's negligible I would not worry too much right now.

Was there any fluctuation with the idle when you purchased it at 86,000?

I purchased it at 26k and it's at 85k. I see needle goes down a bit once in awhile but nothing to be concerned.
