oil pressure test

Have ticking noise and rattle noise on cold start. So i'm thinking to test the oil pressure to rule out the oil pump failure.

anyone happen to know the port to connect the pressure gauge to? thanks.

BTW: engine M276.957 for 2013 C300 3.5L.

thanks Bro for the info. I already did the tensioner and check valve but rattle remains. I'm trying to find other causes.

Weird. These are the most if not the only causes of the rattle as reported on the forums.

Did you try scanning to see if there are any codes?

here comes the most interesting part of my car, it does not throw any code or engine light easily.

1.OBD scanner tells me coolant temp goes down to 75 C degree on highway, I suspect a fail thermostat but no code, no engine light.

2.engine rattle on cold start, i suspect a fail camshaft adjuster, no code, no engine light.

Plus, OBD scanner tells a P0113 code, replaced a new air intake temperature sensor, but code remains. The most wired thing is the gas mileage is pretty good with 7.6L/100KM on highway, the only thing is it has a jerking acceleration.
